Personal Care brand Dove has been forced to remove Facebook advertisement off the web because of the visual representation of a woman of color using the soap to reveal a caucasian women after-use. Polite Society Magazine was made so controversial topics such as this commercial could be discussed on a platform consumers wouldn't feel scrutinized on. Social networks are buzzing as consumers are realizing what the company really stands for despite their many advertisements staring women of many different tones, races and body types. There are many speaking of boycotting the brand because while the creative team behind Dove should have known the repercussions there are people trying to defend the commercial because of previous inclusivity of races in past advertisements.
